Interested in becoming a volunteer? The YMCA offers opportunities for young people and their communities to develop in mind, body and spirit and so help to fulfil their potential. We endeavour to reflect this holistic approach in the way we recognise the value of each individual volunteer and enable them to make their unique contribution to the organisation's mission and thus to the community. The YMCA values diversity and welcomes applications from across all of the community. Our Board of Trustees
We are also committed to ensuring that diversity is reflected strongly within the Board of Trustees. The Board is made up of volunteers who seek to give vision and overall direction to the aims of the YMCA, and draws its strength from the variety of individuals from many backgrounds who bring their personal skills to unite together to lead this YMCA. The Board of Trustees meets approximately every 6-8 weeks for 2-3 hours.
