Our Aims and Purposes
Every year, YMCAs in England impact upon the lives of over 500,000 people, and intensively support nearly 215,000 young people.At Chelmsford YMCA, we work to build lives, hope and futures for children, young people and families by working under the following five strategy themes which have been agreed by the Board:
1. Sustainability, Finance & Development - We will grow our work and be more financially sustainable.
2. Integrated Services & Programmes - Our programmes and services for children, young people and families will be more joined up.
3. Quality & Influence - reputation - We will be recognised as the leader in the activities and areas in which we operate.
4. Marketing & Brand - We want everyone to know what we do.
5. International YMCA movement - We will engage with the worldwide YMCA in achieving our vision and mission.
